Muse Vomit
Every now and then my Muse visits me when she's been indulging in drink with the fairies. The inspirations she gives me at those times are incomplete and twisted...but they are not invaluabe. I record those ramblings here, in hopes that she will make sense of it all upon her return to me.

I'm not truly happy.

But where lies the solution?

he slides away along the darkened path
holly hedges high and holding out the dying light
the path stretches beyond sight, fading with the evening

I think he would have stopped walking long ago
if not for the liquid-altered amber waves of reality
shifting his perception one more time

through this glistening veil, he saw her
what he perceived, one cannot tell
but his senses were filled with one word
and all of it's beauty and all of it's pain
"woman"

she walked alone in the garden
but she was not alone, not really
she could smile, but behind those eyes a demon seed was growing
of which even she was unaware

poor innocents
knowing not that they had stumbled into hell
and, yet, into heaven

and there, far beyond the gates, she found eyes peering at her so intensely
eyes set aflame by some ancient fire
by some wandering nymph in the night
and like a creature enchanted she bent toward the flame

hands met hands, skin met skin
and they found themselves in an embrace that involves more than mere flesh
but nothing is forever and Impossibility's harsh hand found it's way into the garden

and so came Anger and Fear
long white fingers encircling her alabastar neck
a whispered "I could kill you" met with laughter
and nothing but joy in her grey eyes
"but you won't....you won't"

Now Chaos entered the garden and the tears began to flow
Doubt, Regret, and Confusion came crashing around like conquering commanders

he was left in his silent abyss
she had carved her own private hell
even still they are plagued by their captors
plagued by memory
and by dreams
